Our 10th birthday issue. Ten years is no small achievement for a magazine to be part of people’s lives, least of all an independent one. To celebrate, our birthday issue is full of autumn food, fun and fascination. It’s a harvest feastival of good food shared, seasonal pleasures, projects to make and places to go. A could-do list for autumn. When The Simple Things launched in October 2012, it promised ‘to celebrate the simple things that matter most’ and each month we still try to offer that reminder of how good life can be when you remember to take time to live well. Thanks for reading.
