Volume Nine covers the Winter rallies of 2021 and early Spring events 2022.
In this issue we cover some serious terrain in all sorts of hideous weather, we start our adventures in sunny Sanremo, Italy where we join the start of Rally-The-Globe’s Carrera Italia event back in late Autumn. But over the 10 day adventure, the plucky competitors had to endure monsoon rains and thick snow as they crossed the Dolomites and the going all got a bit icy!
In November we took a rather slower ride on the Royal Automobile Club’s - London to Brighton - Veteran Car Run, celebrating the 125th re-enactment of this historic run. We also have a heart warming report from Paul Lawrence who took his 12 year old son Ben on his first forest rally - The Roger Albert Clark Classic Rally- only to face Storm Arwen!
We then head to the Saudi Arabia desert with experienced classic rally competitors; Richard Worts and Nicola Shackleton - the first UK entrants to attempt the Dakar Classic. We delve into their planning and preparations for embarking on this epic challenge and find out how it all works, and how they got on.

Rally d’Aumale, we escape down-under to take a trip on the Australian Targa Florio and follow five Healeys as they campaign the Royal Automobile Club’s 3-hr Endurance, the Pall Mall Cup at Donington Historic Festival celebrating the 70th year of the Healey 100.
