Enki Volume 51
Enki is a monthly design and architecture magazine with a focus on sustainability, showcasing modern designers and architects from around the world.
What grabbed us about this issue…
Volume 52 is the White Issue and the cover sets the tone immediately. A dark timber cabin disappearing into a snow-covered hillside is the kind of image that does the architecture’s work quietly. We enjoyed how the issue uses winter light as an editorial lens rather than just a backdrop. Dream architecture in conditions this demanding tells you something more honest about a building than a summer shoot ever could.
Who’s Enki for?
With its minimalist design and neutral colour palette, Enki is one to reach for when you want to ease into the world of design and architecture. It’s better suited to those with an existing interest in modern design, particularly if you’re looking to bring elements of the seasons and natural materials into your home. Whether you flick through with a cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon or read it cover to cover, it’s one to pick up when you’re in the mood for something calm and considered.
