Freelancer Issue 20
Funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2021, Freelancer is a quarterly business and lifestyle magazine for freelance workers.
What grabbed us about this issue…
Issue 20 marks both a milestone and a handover. This is Sophie Cross’s final issue as editor and the special edition format gives the early years of the magazine the send-off they deserve. We enjoyed how the celebratory material sits alongside fresh new work rather than replacing it. It feels like a proper closing chapter rather than a retrospective.
Who’s Freelancer for?
With a mix of stories, interviews and practical advice on marketing, finance, productivity and mindset, Freelancer is one for those looking to build a more sustainable, less conventional way of working. There’s a real sense of participation throughout, with space to make notes, fold pages and return to what’s most useful to you. Whether you read it in one go or dip in and out, it’s the kind of magazine you come back to when you’re thinking about your next steps.
