Kinfolk

Kinfolk Issue 60

Kinfolk is a large format quarterly lifestyle journal from Denmark with an elegant design that blends features on home, work, style and culture.

What grabbed us about this issue...

This is a history special issue, looking at the ways in which people learn to live through time and exploring how history is constantly changing as new perspectives emerge. There are many interesting and intentional reads in this issue. We enjoyed starting with one of their starter features "What Makes a Classic?" which looks at different opinions and definitions of classic literature. Another fascinating read is "My Roman Empire", a collection of factoids that six historians can't stop thinking about. Overall, this issue is packed full of history that is both global and unexpected.

Who is Kinfolk for?

This would suit you if you’re drawn to Kinfolk’s take on slow living, with its focus on community, creativity and considered design. It leans towards a slower, more reflective read, bringing together interviews, longer essays and quietly styled photography. One for when you want something calm and intentional, with an emphasis on how people live and create in different parts of the world.
