Kinfolk Issue 61
Kinfolk is a large format quarterly lifestyle journal from Denmark with an elegant design that blends features on home, work, style and culture.
What grabbed us about this issue...
The theme of this issue is play, focusing on our desire to play as adults and to retain some of our childlike nature in order to be open, imaginative and to have fun. A short essay we enjoyed was 'Yes, And..' about improvisational comedy and how this phrase has made its way into other areas of life to encourage further communication. For a longer read we loved 'Taking Play seriously', about the benefits of play and how important it is for humanity to thrive.
Who is Kinfolk for?
This would suit you if you’re drawn to Kinfolk’s take on slow living, with its focus on community, creativity and considered design. It leans towards a slower, more reflective read, bringing together interviews, longer essays and quietly styled photography. One for when you want something calm and intentional, with an emphasis on how people live and create in different parts of the world.
