Like The Wind is a quarterly magazine made by runners for runners, sharing stories and experiences from around the world.
What grabbed us about this issue…
This issue explores the less visible aspects of running culture, like some of the risks and dedication that goes into the sport. There is a feature on the complicated theme of addiction which looks at how running can help with substance abuse, but can also be addicting in itself. There are also stories on lighter and more positive topics like "A Beautiful Blur", an uplifting story about how running can be an opportunity for young people in deprived areas.
Who’s Like The Wind for?
Like The Wind takes a different approach to running, moving away from performance and focusing more on the reasons behind it. This would suit you if you’re interested in the culture, history and wider conversations around running. There’s a real sense of community throughout, with original artwork, photography and contributions from runners themselves. It’s one to pick up when you want to slow things down and think about running in a different way.
