Means is a quarterly magazine dedicated to underground, experimental arts and culture, with each issue exploring a different social, ecological, or political theme.
What grabbed us about this issue...
Issue 6 focuses on the theme of Light and Dark, looking at how it is fundamental in the creation of art. A broad range of artists interpret this theme in their own ways, but each work of art is truly unique. We were struck by "The Architecture of Absence", a graphic collage mixing music, poetry and photography to create a striking piece. The piece with Frazer Merrick is an interesting insight into the world of sound design in an interview that is as playful and curious as his work.
Who is Means for?
Means is dedicated to amplifying the voices of emerging and underrepresented artists. Through a blend of grassroots art, music, and culture, it offers a thoughtful perspective that invites readers to challenge, reflect, and engage with new ideas. It's one for creative and open minded people looking to explore non-traditional art and culture.
