Resurgence & Ecologist is a bi-monthly magazine exploring environmental and social issues through a lens of philosophy, art and positive action.

What grabbed us about this issue?

Belonging is the theme of this issue and we loved how it explores belonging within communities as well as within nature and on our planet. A feature that captured our attention was 'The Earth is Listening'. It begins with a poem, then turns into a story about humanity's deep rooted relationship with the living wold and how that changes as the world around us changes too. There's also a fascinating piece on the Chickadee bird and what it's behaviour can suggest about how thinking doesn't just happen in our minds but in our relationship with the living world.

Who is Resurgence & Ecologist for?

For those passionate about the environment and protecting nature, Resurgence & Ecologist is an educational and positive magazine. Although its writing has a very academic feel to it with a lot of essay style features, each piece is accompanied with an illustration that deepens the writing, instead of just decorating the page. It's one to reach for when you want to spend some quality time with a topic and work through it at your own pace.
