Senet Issue 24

Senet is an independent print magazine about the craft, creativity and community of board gaming.

What grabbed us about this issue....

This issue sees inspiration go full circle as video games are now inspiring tabletop games, with designers immersing themselves in online play in order to recreate spaces that feel as real as possible for board game players. They are also working to overcome the challenges of translating digital worlds into an analogue experience. Noëmie Chevalier discusses her first experience of designing tabletop characters compared with the process of book illustration.

 Who is Senet for?

This will suit you if you're into tabletop games, each issue includes previews of upcoming releases alongside Unboxed reviews that give a good sense of whether a game is worth your time. Longer features explore the tabletop experience in more depth, with designers and makers explaining the creative process behind the games. It's one to dip into at your own pace.
