Trebuchet

Trebuchet Issue 19

Trebuchet  is a biannual contemporary art magazine which dives deep into artists and their work to explain why it's good, rather than just telling you that it is.

What grabbed us about this issue....

Painter and printmaker Eileen Cooper talks in her own words, touching on the books and artists who influenced her at art school, through to the changing meaning behind the objects and animals that can be found repeated through her work over the years. The theme of this issue is Beyond Bodies, and Eileen's practice shows her interest in the moving female form that translates to the ups and downs of everyday life.

Who is Trebuchet for?

Trebuchet  is one to try if you like to get into the detail of modern art with discussions that still invite you to form your own opinions. Each issue is split into definite sections covering online art and installations, also taking a closer look at the work of artists across their careers, so it's easy to focus in on one article and read and consider the pieces of art in full.
