What grabbed us about this issue...
As America celebrates 250 years of independence, this issue explores the country's creativity. We enjoyed looking around the New Mexico house designed in the shape of a coyote's head by artist Johnny DeFeo, the idea first taking shape in a dream. Five studio tours introduce artists with dual heritage who are bringing their own cultures into their creative spaces in the US. For a shorter, more visual read, Star Signs reflects on America's most recognisable graphics including Snoopy, Calvin Klein and the Hollywood sign.
