Little White Lies

Little White Lies #115

Little White Lies is a bi-monthly film magazine which combines original illustration and journalism to bring you insights into the latest films.

What grabbed us about this issue...

The film at the focus of this issue is Wild Horse Nine, a black comedy about two CIA agents who are dispatched to Easter Island for a mission. It's a story of friendship and morality that Little White Lies has dedicated 8 parts of one big feature to. We liked hearing from the writer Martin McDonagh about how he came up with the idea following the success of his beloved The Banshees of Inisherin,as well as hearing from the other talented people who made this new film possible. Elsewhere in the issue you'll find movie reviews and recommendations as well as a feature we were excited to read on the new Laika film Wildwood, a masterpiece of stop-motion animation.

Who is Little White Liesfor?

With its colourful design and illustrations and its personal and thoughtful reviews, Little White Lies is not a throwaway read. It is a magazine to be cherished and enjoyed for its excellent craftsmanship and unique perspectives. If you're new to the world of film, there are short reviews to ease into and work your way up to the more detailed and analytical essays for those who are well versed in film.
