This issue looks at some of the special ways Scandinavians embrace the season: I’ve shared my own musings on creating a Christmas Scandi home, having edited five Christmas specials, while Niki Brantmark bravely plunges into a world of cold dips and steamy saunas all in the name of research, followed by winter comfort recipes – you know, food that feels like a hug in a bowl or mug, or on a plate.
