What grabbed us about this issue...
We were drawn to a piece in which artist Hervé Sabin talks through his journey from architecture to sculpture, working intuitively with wood collected from his ever-changing surroundings. His process is guided by the materials themselves and carving, charring and sanding in something close to a ritual.
