Gooseberry Issue 6

Gooseberry is a UK magazine about love and relationships, covering dating, communication, sex and heartbreak through real voices and expert perspectives.

What grabbed us about this issue...

Issue 6 takes trust as its theme and the three couples who open up about what it means to them give it an immediate honesty. We enjoyed how different their answers are from each other. The interview with Bryony Gordon is also worth seeking out. She brings the same candour to relationships that she brings to everything else. If you’re interested in the practical side of connection, the six practices for building listening skills is the most quietly useful piece in an issue full of them.

Who’s Gooseberry for?

Gooseberry is one for when you want to think more carefully about the relationships in your life. Each issue takes a single theme and explores it through real couples, expert voices and personal essays. You can tell this is made by people who believe honest conversation about love is still in short supply. This would suit you if you’re drawn to reading that feels personal without being prescriptive. Think of it as a quarterly prompt to look more closely at how you connect with others. It’s one to reach for when you want something warm, considered and genuinely useful.
