What grabbed us about this issue...
Issue 2 moves between big cultural names and the everyday, often overlooked, corners of left-wing life. We kept coming back to a piece on local banner makers, whose hand-crafted work has been carried through marches and gatherings for generations. If you’re into music, you might enjoy the reflection on Patti Smith and her influence on the people who followed her. There’s also a surprising story about woodchip wallpaper that’s worth a look, if only to find out how it earned its place here.

Left Cultures is for passionate and curious minded people who are keen to get involved in politics in an offline way. It's filled with personal stories that are unusual and interesting but all connected to themes of Leftist politics. Every story is accompanied by creative and expressive illustrations making it a visually stimulating read, as well as informative and eye-opening one. It's a great read to learn something new and to gather great stories to share with others.
