Lunch Lady

Lunch Lady Issue 28

Lunch Lady is the bright and beautifully designed Australian mag about food and family.

What grabbed us about this issue...

Issue 28 has a lovely floral thread running through its recipes, with flowers finding their way into everything from cakes to pizzas. We kept coming back to a piece with Lenore Skenazy, founder of the Free-Range Kids movement, on giving children the freedom to grow more independent. If you’re after a rainy day project, you might enjoy making a marble run together. In the kitchen, the lemon flower tarts are worth a look if you’d like to try baking with edible flowers.

Who is Lunch Lady for?

Lunch Lady is for parents with young kids who need something light and fun to read. It has useful advice, relatable stories and inspiration for your home and kitchen. It's not a magazine that's suitable for kids to read but it has activities and projects for your kids to do. Things to make, easy recipes and even colourful illustrations that you can repurpose for fun cutting and sticking sessions with your little one.
