What grabbed us about this issue?
This issue, as usual, has such a variety of features accompanied by gorgeous and interesting art. We particularly enjoyed the poems of Báyò Akómoláfé which play with form, combining words and art to create deep, philosophical pieces. Or "Your phone, in rice" is an eye opening read about the fantasy of returning to a simpler life (pre mobile phone).
Who is Resurgence & Ecologist for?
For those passionate about the environment and protecting nature, Resurgence & Ecologist is an educational and positive magazine. Although its writing has a very academic feel to it with a lot of essay style features, each piece is accompanied with an illustration that deepens the writing, instead of just decorating the page. It's one to reach for when you want to spend some quality time with a topic and work through it at your own pace.
