Sirene Journal

Sirene Issue 22

Sirene is a biannual magazine that loves the ocean. From literature, history, travel and adventure, its pages are filled with everything and anything relating to the sea, its connection with humanity and the personal connections we feel to it.

What grabbed us about this issue...

In this issue we enjoyed learning about the shipwreck of San José and its story of archaeological discovery. Following the adventures of canoeists in Taiwan was an exciting read or if you fancy something more accessible, there is a fascinating discussion of Herman Melville's Moby Dick.

Who is Sirene for?

Sirene is made for the people who feel close to the ocean even when they are far away from it. But beyond that it's for those who want to read something refreshing and calming. With an eclectic mix of content there are all sorts of features to try out, perfect for those moments when you want to take a short break to read something fun.
