Enki is a monthly design and architecture magazine with a focus on sustainability, showcasing modern designers and architects from around the world.
What grabbed us about this issue…
Issue 70 marks winter, with the Nolla cabin on the cover sets the tone immediately. Finnish designer Robin Falck’s minimal winter shelters have earned their following. The architecture case studies are worth seeking out if you’re interested in how buildings respond to their plots. A three-part home wedged between Canadian rocks and a stilted cabin designed around rising water levels give the theme real range. We also enjoyed the conversation with Owain Williams. An architect driven by a desire to forge a Welsh architectural identity is a more specific ambition than most profiles start with.
Who’s Enkifor?
