Paranting Magazine

Paranting Issue #1

Paranting Magazine is a new compact, glossy, print-only magazine made by parents for parents. Created in the belief that reading magazines is a healthier and much better way to get news and feel part of a community, Paranting Mag covers UK and world news, health, fashion, travel, education, home and garden, science and technology and more. Paranting also gives a voice to all parents - parents of colour, members of LGBTQ+, disabled parents and working class parents.

In Issue #1, they interview Siobhan Obodai-Payne who founded an affordable private midwife service, they look at how the recent COVID-19 wave has affected parents and families in India, and discuss issues around having a child in Cameroon.

In the UK, they look at the underfunding of the early years and the effect it has on parents, the exclusion of fathers when it comes to homeschooling and dealing with eco-anxieties.

There's also columnists discussing life as a new father, debunking summer diet myths, and frank talk about sexual desires from 'Father Filthy.'
