I always find spring is much more my ‘resolutions’ season than the start of a new year, having enjoyed the festivities and cosiness of Christmas, followed by a busy few weeks on press for this issue. It takes me a month or so to get ready for the year to come: I’m much more likely to get that daily walk in now than at the beginning of January, for instance! I’m also ready for the longer days again, like so many of our Scandinavian neighbours!"
