Enki Volume 57

Enki is a monthly design and architecture magazine with a focus on sustainability, showcasing modern designers and architects from around the world.

What grabbed us about this issue…

Volume 57 is the annual White Issue and the architecture sets the tone immediately. We enjoyed how the houses feel less like buildings placed in a winter landscape and more like part of it. Expansive glass and natural materials do a lot of that work quietly. If you’re interested in design beyond the home, the interview with stationery designer Katie Leamon is worth finding. It’s a different kind of making alongside the architecture features.

Who’s Enkifor?

With its minimalist design and neutral colour palette,Enkiis one to reach for when you want to ease into the world of design and architecture. It’s better suited to those with an existing interest in modern design, particularly if you’re looking to bring elements of the seasons and natural materials into your home. Whether you flick through with a cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon or read it cover to cover, it’s one to pick up when you’re in the mood for something calm and considered.
