Flora

Flora Magazine Spring 2023

Flora is a floristry magazine for flower-arranging enthusiasts, covering ideas, news and techniques from the world of flowers and floral design.

What grabbed us about this issue...

The Harry Potter floral exhibit at Lincoln Cathedral is the one to find. A large-scale installation inside a medieval cathedral is a different kind of floristry brief and the photography is worth the visit alone. We also enjoyed the feature connecting a Gucci scarf to a Botticelli painting through the Flora motif. It’s an unexpected route into the history of floral design. The bug hotel piece gives the issue a more practical thread alongside the larger spectacles.

Who’s Flora for?

Flora is one for when you want to go deeper into flowers than a gardening magazine allows. Each issue brings together creative inspiration alongside practical guidance for those who take arranging seriously. This would suit you if floristry is already a passion and you want to feel connected to the broader world of the craft. Think of it as a creative companion for the workbench rather than the coffee table. It’s one to reach for when you want fresh ideas for what to do with the flowers in front of you.
