Digital Frontier is a magazine exploring how technology is shaping the way we live, work and spend, through deeply reported stories and strong visual design.
What grabbed us about this issue...
Issue 3 is the Curiosity issue and Are.na co-founder Charles Broskoski is the interview to find. His knowledge-collection platform works like a used bookstore, which is a more useful description than most tech founders manage. The augmented reality feature asks whether the mirrorworld will divide or unite us. It’s a question worth sitting with. The piece on barefoot developers building small, joyful corners of the internet is worth seeking out too. It’s a quieter counterpoint to the bigger technology stories around it.
Who’s Digital Frontier for?
Digital Frontier is one for when you want technology writing that goes beyond product announcements. Each issue takes a theme and uses it to explore the deeper forces shaping the digital world. The design is strong enough to make it worth keeping. This would suit you if you’re already engaged with how technology is changing daily life and want writing that keeps pace with that thinking. Think of it as a quarterly pause inside the noise. It’s one to reach for when you want to feel genuinely curious again.
