Issue 17 takes the turn of the seasons as its starting point. The Mozambique photo essay is the one to find. Wild landscape photography sits differently in a design magazine and it earns its place here. The new culture edit on the back page is also worth noting. Linda Boronkay opens it with a characteristically considered selection, including her love of Jungle and the work of Es Devlin. It’s a strong start to what looks like a lasting addition.
Who’s Design Anthology for?
Design Anthology is one to reach for when you want to spend a bit more time thinking about the design world. With technical case studies, subject-specific recommendations and inventive spaces, it’s not the easiest entry point, but offers a more in-depth look at contemporary design. You can tell care has gone into how it’s made, with thick matte pages that give it a more lasting feel. It’s the kind of magazine you pick up when you’re in the mood to be challenged and explore something new.
