Magneto

Magneto Issue 31

Published quarterly by Hothouse MediaMagneto is the magazine made for people who see cars not just as machines, but as objects of design, history and culture.

What grabbed us about this issue…

The main event of this issue has to be the reuniting of the three controversial Fords that won the 1966 Le Mans. This special feature sees them driving together for only the second time since 1966 and the full page photography means you can see them in all their glory. Another feature we enjoyed was the restoration of a Talbot-Lago T26 grand Sport Chassis, a mind-blowing transformation from a rust bucket to gorgeous, shiny and good as new.

Who’s Magneto for?

Magneto is rooted in history, culture and design. It's not just about cars but about their craftsmanship, engineering and the stories and people surrounding them. It's a high quality publication that will be something to treasure for motorheads. The balance between photography and long-form features means it's a great one to dip in and out of. And it also looks good on a coffee table! It's features go deep into the culture of cars and also feel very personal. For a magazine about machines it has a very human touch.
