Created to complement Wildish Club, a series of local walking groups started post lockdown, Wildish plans to be a regular companion through the year, noticing the small changes in the seasons and encouraging you outside whatever the weather.
What grabbed us about this issue…
This issue looks at the spring season. A year in the Gardencharts the development of the Wildish community garden, which has brought people together to grow and learn, with plenty of socialising. With very little experience but lots of enthusiasm, the garden has come to life, with some highs and lows along the way. The illustrated short guide to the sky lark by Jonny Boatfield looks at the folklore and history surrounding this melodic bird.
