Womankind represents a new era for women:Womankind is an advertising-free women’s magazine on self, identity and meaning in today’s society.

Womankind magazine features leading journalists, authors and artists – offering a signature mix of reporting and commentary on culture, creativity, philosophy, nature, and ways to live a more fulfilling life.

This is the 'Peru' issue. They meet three Peruvian women to get a sense of life in Peru (a theatre director, a fishmonger, and a community cook) as well as the Quechua people keeping ancestral textile traditions alive. They explore Peruvian art using traditional crafts, the 'lungs of the world' Amazon rainforest, the macabre history of the Incas and lots more besides.
