What grabbed us about this issue...
Issue 30 marks ten years of Disegno and the Sigurd Lewerentz exhibition piece is the one to find first. The Swedish architect remains underexamined and the conversation with ArkDes’s Kieran Long alongside Tony Fretton and others gives the reassessment real weight. The architecture of Palestine’s archaeological sites is equally worth seeking out. Ariel Caine, Dima Srouji and Silvia Truini approach occupation through built heritage in a way that makes the argument harder to look away from.
