Enki Volume 59
Enki is a monthly design and architecture magazine with a focus on sustainability, showcasing modern designers and architects from around the world.
What grabbed us about this issue…
Volume 59 opens with a small holiday home in Hvaler, Norway. We enjoyed how the scale works in its favour rather than against it. The glass-fronted New Zealand home is worth finding alongside it. Bringing nature indoors is an overused phrase until you see a building that actually earns it.
Who’s Enki for?
With its minimalist design and neutral colour palette, Enki is one to reach for when you want to ease into the world of design and architecture. It’s better suited to those with an existing interest in modern design, particularly if you’re looking to bring elements of the seasons and natural materials into your home. Whether you flick through with a cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon or read it cover to cover, it’s one to pick up when you’re in the mood for something calm and considered.
