Like The Wind is a quarterly magazine made by runners for runners, sharing stories and experiences from around the world.
What grabbed us about this issue…
Issue 48 explores the mental freedom that running can bring, while acknowledging that it’s not something everyone has equal access to. Alongside original art and photography, you’ll find thoughtful pieces that give space to voices looking to shape the future of running. We particularly enjoyed 'A Run of One’s Own', a reflection on women’s safety that’s worth a read. And if you’re drawn to running beyond the beaten track, there’s a piece on trail racing in China’s mountains that might inspire your next adventure.
Who’s Like The Wind for?
Like The Wind takes a different approach to running, moving away from performance and focusing more on the reasons behind it. This would suit you if you’re interested in the culture, history and wider conversations around running. There’s a real sense of community throughout, with original artwork, photography and contributions from runners themselves. It’s one to pick up when you want to slow things down and think about running in a different way.
