Stranger's Guide 21: Colonialism

Stranger's Guide is a brilliant travel publication from the US, diving into different cities, and locations through investigative journalism, local writers, and arresting photography to give you a sense of place rather than a destination guide. Past issues have explored Ukraine, Johannesburg and US National Parks.

For issue 21,  they've partnered with Coda Story, a non-profit newsroom which digs into the roots of global crises, to explore colonialism, its origins and its effects on life, language, food and identity. Inside: the struggle for post-colonial identity, the new Aztecs, what makes a nation, life in Gaza.
