Where The Leaves Fall is a quarterly mag exploring ourconnection with nature. Published in partnership withOmVed Gardens, WTLF delves intoissues around our place in nature, collaborating with artists, scientists, conservationists and more.
Issue 12 is guest-edited by indigenous activist Txai Suruí of the Paiter Suruí in the Amazon.
The themes this issue are cosmology, indigenous art and resistance. Inside they explore the significance of dreaming for the Yonomami people and how colonisation changed their view of spirituality. They examine themes of ancestry and identity through indigenous art, and look at resistance in indigenous communities, from the youth taking control of their narrative to the fight against deforestation.
