What grabbed us about this issue.....
Issue 4 takes adversity turned into beauty as its theme and Sofia Bodovic Olsson gives it the most grounded expression. A childhood forager who became a professional chef and women’s advocate is a story Faire handles with the depth it deserves. We also enjoyed the Parisian cabinet of curiosities boutique. The kind of shop that resists easy categorisation tends to be run by someone equally hard to place. The botanical artists give the issue a quieter register alongside the more dramatic life stories.
