Faire

Faire Issue 7

Created in France by Ruth Ribeaucourt, Faire introduces the stories of creative people from around the world, inviting us into their studios and homes.

What grabbed us about this issue.....

Issue 7 follows three creatives who left steady careers for a more creative life in Provence. We enjoyed how photographer Jamie Beck, painter Tony Ramos and herbalist Rachel Baker each arrived at the same place by a different route. If you’re interested in how artists actually live alongside their work, Mark Hearld’s home and curated collections of curiosities is worth seeking out. The visit to Liam Buckley and Ruth Faulkner’s shared life and practice gives the issue its warmest moment.

Who is Faire  for?

If you are drawn to a creative life and like to take time with a leisurely read, Faire is worth a look. Each issue connects with artists, craftspeople, writers and photographers who describe their creative journeys, alongside generous photos often taken by founder Ruth. You can pick your favourites to enjoy one by one over a few days.
