Huck is a bi-annual magazine with a fresh and modern perspective on topics of sport, music and culture. It features radical people with radical ideas and a diverse range of stories from subcultures from around the world, proudly documenting the undocumented.
What grabbed us about this issue...
Huck 70 is about survival, sharing stories of people finding strength when the world feels like it’s falling apart. We kept coming back to a conversation with Black Mirror creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, who turn out to be more hopeful about the future than their show might suggest. If you’re into music, you might enjoy hearing from Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker about the pressure of following up a much-loved album. There’s also a collection of rave photography from Simon Burstall’s teenage years that’s worth a look if you’re drawn to subcultures captured on film.
Who's Huck for?
For the days when you fancy something different Huck is here to surprise you. With detailed journalism on the most unexpected and interesting topics, it is an entertaining read for open-minded people who appreciate deep and rebellious story-telling. And if you like your mag to be as interesting in design as it is in content, Huck's bold photography and graphic design makes it an even more exciting read.
