Huck Issue 71

Huck is a bi-annual magazine with a fresh and modern perspective on topics of sport, music and culture. It features radical people with radical ideas and a diverse range of stories from subcultures from around the world, proudly documenting the undocumented.

What grabbed us about this issue...

Huck 71 is a hopeful issue, celebrating people who refuse to accept that a better future is out of reach. We kept coming back to a feature on London’s Shaolin warriors, which offers a glimpse into a community you might never expect to find in the city. If you’re into photography, you might enjoy hearing from Joel Meyerowitz, one of the great names in street and colour photography. There’s also a piece on big-wave surfer Maya Gabeira that’s worth a look if you love stories of pushing past what’s thought possible.

Who's Huck for?

For the days when you fancy something different Huck is here to surprise you. With detailed journalism on the most unexpected and interesting topics, it is an entertaining read for open-minded people who appreciate deep and rebellious story-telling. And if you like your mag to be as interesting in design as it is in content, Huck's bold photography and graphic design makes it an even more exciting read.
