Enki Volume 67

Enki is a monthly design and architecture magazine with a focus on sustainability, showcasing modern designers and architects from around the world.

What grabbed us about this issue…

Volume 67 is the Holiday Issue and the retrofitted Ibizan farm building is the one to find first. We enjoyed how Finn Harries and Christian Jochnick have turned a disused utility structure into a regenerative food hub rooted in community. It’s a more purposeful holiday project than the name suggests. If you’re interested in the link between food, soil and human health, Dr Hannah Fraser’s piece on regenerative agriculture is worth seeking out. The research connecting soil health to wellbeing gives the issue a stronger editorial thread than most interiors titles attempt.

Who’s Enkifor?

With its minimalist design and neutral colour palette,Enkiis one to reach for when you want to ease into the world of design and architecture. It’s better suited to those with an existing interest in modern design, particularly if you’re looking to bring elements of the seasons and natural materials into your home. Whether you flick through with a cup of tea on a Sunday afternoon or read it cover to cover, it’s one to pick up when you’re in the mood for something calm and considered.
