This is a club edition, dedicated entirely to Hibernian F.C. It feels like it's been made by people shaped by the club, with their memories and photographs giving it a closeness you notice quickly. If you don't know much about Hibs and want to get up to speed, there's a potted history of the club's 150 years that's worth a look. We kept coming back to the photography spreads, which move between archival and recent images and does a good job of showing how deeply the club is woven into its community.
Who’s Glory for?
Born out of frustration with mainstream English football,Glory is one for when you want to explore the game in its simplest forms without the glitz of the leading leagues. It's not the easiest entry point if you're new to football culture beyond the Premier League, with a focus on niche clubs and institutions in some unlikely destinations. This would suit you if you're drawn to the community side of the sport and enjoy reading about the places football quietly shapes.
