ætla is a biannual print magazine and online community to inspire and nurture creative, wild souls through written and visual storytelling that sees the world differently, vibrantly and gently. Previously published as Fen + Field magazine.

In issue 01, they explore the rocky landscapes of Cappadocia in Central Turkey, the wild adventures organisation, Rooted Wings and climb Everest. They also interview landscape artist, James Bywood, talk to ethical jewellery maker, Geri Atkinson and examine the Finnish concept of 'sisu,' cultivating sustained courage to help us rise to life's challenges.
